This notice explains how Ben’s Web Design handles information through this website. Contact ben@benswebdesign.com with questions or requests to access, correct, or delete your inquiry.
Information you submit
The inquiry form collects your name, email, business name, project details, chosen package, and contact preference. If you request a meeting, you may also provide availability, a phone number, or a preferred location. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive information.
Client questionnaires and uploads
If Ben shares a client questionnaire link with you, the form also collects your design preferences, website requirements, reference links, timing, and any logo, image, or PDF files you choose to upload. These are stored privately for project planning and review. The customer link allows submissions; it does not let customers view anyone else’s answers or files. Ben’s separate private review link and inbox password are required to access responses. Please do not share passwords or other sensitive account information in the form.
How it is used
Submitted details are stored in a private lead database and used to respond to your project inquiry and arrange next steps. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Website measurements
This website records aggregate daily counts of page views, contact-link clicks, form starts, and successful inquiries, along with broad referral categories such as search or direct visits. These measurements do not include form content, email addresses, full referring URLs, or persistent visitor identifiers. They measure overall activity, not individual visitor journeys. The measurement script respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Hosting and service providers
The website and its database are operated through Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process network information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. To limit form abuse, the application stores a short-lived hash of a network address rather than the raw address. Google Fonts receives network information when fonts load. If automatic email delivery is configured, the sending provider processes the recipient address and message needed for that delivery.
Retention and choices
Inquiries are retained while they are needed to discuss or deliver your project and manage related business records. You can ask for deletion by email; records may need to be kept where required for an ongoing service or legal obligation. Aggregate usage counts contain no inquiry details. Rate-limit records are removed after their short retention window as new requests are processed.
